01One policy for every tool

This policy supplements the Unspecified terms of use. It applies to instructions, uploaded references, transformations, outputs and their uses, regardless of the selected model. It covers features actually available in your account, including images, videos and audio references where supported.

A tool’s capabilities, a request passing a filter or a technically successful generation do not prove that permissions have been obtained or that a use is lawful. Restrictions disclosed for a model apply in addition to this policy and never authorise a use prohibited here.

  • Terms of use

02Before uploading: check your rights

You are responsible for selecting the material you send us and ensuring it is lawful. Check that your rights cover processing by the service and its providers, as well as the intended use of the output. An image, video clip or recording being available online is not permission to reuse it.

  • Copyright and related rights: photographs, illustrations, music, lyrics, films, performances and other works, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.
  • Trademarks, designs and products: check licences and avoid misleading claims of origin, affiliation or endorsement.
  • Client or third-party personal data: inform the individuals concerned and establish an appropriate legal basis. Where a data processing agreement is required, it must be in place before processing.
  • Confidentiality: do not submit trade secrets, passwords, health information or other sensitive data to a tool that has not been expressly agreed and made suitable for that processing.

03Faces, voices and identifiable people

The private character process provides personal permission for three months, renewable through a new invitation and withdrawable through the person’s link. It does not replace permissions appropriate to public or advertising distribution. Provider verification and model activation are still required before generating through this process. Do not bypass these steps using another URL or account.

Before reproducing, transforming or imitating an identifiable person, ensure you have the permissions required by law for their image, voice and personal data. Permissions must cover AI transformation, context, media and intended distribution. Keep appropriate evidence. Being a public figure does not automatically remove these rights.

Permission to photograph or publish does not necessarily authorise voice imitation, synthetic alteration or association with a product. If in doubt, use fictional characters and assets with clear rights.

Do not misleadingly suggest that a person said something, performed an act, endorsed a brand or supported an opinion through a deceptive synthetic creation. Clearly fictional, artistic or satirical depictions remain subject to individual rights and applicable transparency rules.

04Prohibited uses

You must not use the service to create, transform, facilitate or distribute the following, or attempt to bypass safeguards preventing them.

  • Any exploitation or sexualisation of minors, including fictional or generated depictions, and any grooming or endangerment of a minor.
  • Intimate or sexualised content depicting a person without consent, synthetic undressing, sexual blackmail or revenge pornography.
  • Impersonation, scams, phishing, fake testimonials or reviews, or fabricated documents or evidence presented as authentic.
  • Harassment, defamation, threats, disclosure of private information, persecution or unlawful discriminatory content.
  • Incitement to hatred, terrorism or violence, or practical assistance intended to commit dangerous unlawful acts.
  • Infringement of intellectual property, protected secrets or personal data protection rules.
  • Deceptive manipulation campaigns, particularly presenting synthetic content as evidence of a real event or misleading people about an election or a matter of public interest.
  • Using outputs without qualified human review to decide access to employment, credit, insurance, healthcare, education or other essential rights.

05Before sharing: human review

You choose which outputs to keep, modify, publish or commercialise and are responsible for the uses you decide. Review the entire output: visual details, text, brands, likenesses, voices, music and context. Correct errors, verify claims and obtain any additional permissions required.

An output may resemble an existing work or another generation. Originality, exclusivity, copyright protection and freedom from third-party rights are not guaranteed. A technically usable generation may require further checks or permissions before professional use.

Also follow the rules of your distribution channel, including advertising, consumer information, platforms, competitions, commercial campaigns and election communications. The service does not carry out those checks for you.

06Make the artificial origin clear

Where required by applicable law, clearly disclose that content was generated or manipulated by AI, in a form appropriate to its context and noticeable at first exposure. This includes deepfakes liable to present synthetic people, objects, places, entities or events as authentic.

Do not remove disclosures or provenance information to deceive the public or evade a transparency obligation. Specific legal rules and exceptions for clearly artistic, creative, satirical or fictional works apply on their own terms.

These user commitments do not replace technical marking, information or security obligations applicable to NEW GAME or providers under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.

  • EU Artificial Intelligence Act, Article 50

07Respect the tools and other accounts

  • Do not bypass quotas, security safeguards, content restrictions or access controls, or create multiple accounts to improperly obtain resources.
  • Do not access other people’s creations, use an account without permission or collect data or content through unauthorised automated extraction.
  • Do not disrupt the service through abusive requests, malware or intrusive testing without agreement. Mandatory rights relating to interoperability and authorised research remain reserved.
  • If you find a vulnerability, limit your actions to what is needed to describe it and contact hello@unspecified.ai without disclosing any data you may have accessed.

08Reports, action and review

Report abuse to hello@unspecified.ai, identifying the content or account, the facts, contact details for our reply and supporting information relevant to the request. Avoid unnecessary sensitive data.

Depending on severity, urgency and repetition, NEW GAME may refuse a generation, limit a feature, remove content or suspend or close an account under the terms of use. Measures must be proportionate. Unless urgency, a legal prohibition or security risks prevent it, the user receives reasons and may submit observations.

You may request a human review at the same address and explain why you challenge the decision. This policy creates no automatic private fine and does not remove any statutory right to restitution, reimbursement or remedies. Competent authorities may be involved where provided by law.
